ASSISTING THE LOCAL CHURCH

The District exists to help each Eastern PA Alliance church maximize its Great Commission potential.  The partnership that is shared between each Eastern PA Alliance church, other Alliance churches, and the District makes the ministry of our whole body more fruitful for our King. The District leadership team facilitates this partnership through three essential objectives.

The District leads by encouraging, facilitating and supporting this partnership through three essential objectives.

The first priority of the District in serving Eastern PA Alliance churches is the development and care of the workers who lead these churches. We believe that for churches to be healthy, they need to be led by healthy pastors. We pursue pastoral health by coming alongside our pastors in six ways:

  • Licensing, Ordination, and Consecration
  • Spiritual Formation
  • Pastoral Care
  • Leadership Training
  • Coaching
  • Accountability

The second objective of the District is to support, encourage, and inspire Eastern PA Alliance Churches toward their Great Commission potential. We seek to accomplish this through:

  • Sunday/Weekend Ministry
  • Training and Consultation
  • Conflict Mediation and Discipline
  • Pastoral Transition and Placement
  • Grants, Scholarships & Loans

The Eastern PA District is part of the Christ-Centered, Acts 1:8 family of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.  Because we are part of The Alliance and because we believe that partnership makes each partner stronger, we actively seek the synergy of ministry cooperation on local, regional, national and international levels. We seek to facilitate this cooperative effort through:

  • Regional Partnership Ministries (RPMs)
  • Ministry Networks for Men, Women, Youth, and Children
  • Missions Mobilization
